Can we keep what we catch?
From shark fishing, king fishing to snapper fishing, regulations dictate what we can keep. The rules depend on the type of fish, its size, and whether it meets the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) regulations and is in season. Your guide will ensure that any fish you keep is within legal limits, and if it qualifies, will fillet and prepare your catch for you.
Is it customary to tip the captain?
While not required, tipping is customary to tip 15-20% of the total charter cost. This tip rewards the crew for their hard work, expertise, and dedication to making your fishing charter experience enjoyable and successful.
